The Custom Silicon Program Management team is part of Marvell’s Commercial ASIC Business Unit. The ASIC BU develops cutting-edge custom silicon solution for Marvell’s partners, providing and end-to-end design solution from architecture to volume production. Focused on networking, wireless, and datacenter markets, ASIC BU delivers the most advanced silicon solutions working at the very forefront of semiconductor technology.
A Custom Silicon Program Manager in ASIC BU is responsible for end-to-end ownership of customer-driven ASIC solutions. They lead the most complex, advanced projects in the industry and work with the largest players in the technology world. This is a high-visibility role and regular interaction with senior executives and technical leaders should be expected.
Key responsibilities include:
- Development and management of program plans and schedules
- Coordination across Marvell internal stakeholders to drive program execution
- Ownership of internal and external communication at both technical and executive levels
- Business case ownership (P&L) of programs during development
In addition, the Program Manager is a leader within the broader Marvell team, serving as the “Customer Champion” within Marvell to drive key needs and resolve issues. A strong collaborative mindset and a willingness to tackle any problem will be a tremendous asset for any candidate.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience.
Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
Excellent written and oral communications skills, with experience in presenting to all levels of technical and management teams
Extensive experience in development or program management in advanced (sub-16nm) silicon nodes
