Posting Summary            

Support the mission of the Larner College of Medicine through data management, aggregation and visualization, including but not limited to reporting and dashboarding using the large volume of complex data in LCOM enterprise data warehouse environment.

Work with key stakeholders at LCOM and best practices in academic medicine to develop recommendations for data warehousing, aggregation and visualization methodologies to support accreditation, grants management, educational efficacy, physical space/resource allocation and other needs as identified.

Design and implement a project intake methodology for all large-scale reporting projects.

Report to the Database Environment Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)        

Bachelor’s degree and one to three years’ experience in data analytics and visualization required. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services required. Expertise in Microsoft client tools including Excel and Power Point. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical faculty and staff to establish project requirements and success criteria required. Ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision required.

Desirable Qualifications              

SQL Server Integration Services experience desirable. Experience in data Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), data analytics and visualization desirable. Experience working in a higher education environment desirable..
