Support Howard Center’s Billing team by assisting with the planning and coordinating of billing department functions and billing systems maintenance to ensure timely and accurate healthcare claims submission and resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary technical resource for Billing process improvement and troubleshooting
  • Perform complex data processing and data imports into and within EHR Billing system
  • Analyze and resolve EDI claim and remittance file issues as needed
  • Support the monthly close process and Agency’s audit functions
  • Assist with configuration and maintenance of EHR Billing System software in accordance with applicable regulations and insurance payer rules

Requirements:

Three years of healthcare billing experience with strong emphasis in accounts receivable preferredKnowledge of applicable billing regulations (Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance)

Knowledge of accounting principles
