The Opportunity
Become a member of a best-in-class custom ASIC design team that provides design solutions and offerings for next generation 5G carriers, cloud data centers, enterprise and automotive applications. You will have an opportunity to design and integrate complex ASIC systems in leading technologies using industry-standard processes and tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review critical nets, such as clock and high-speed interfaces, and determine the areas of concerns for in-depth analysis to ensure signal quality.
- Construct simulation models from extracted circuit and paths of chip, package, and possibly PCB.
- Perform simulation, analyze the results, and review with the design team.
- Change key parameters in simulation to study the effects and validate the results.
- Document the project and share learning.
Requirements:
Candidate MUST be currently pursuing a BS (MS preferred) degree in CS/EE. Completed courses in electronic, circuit design, and programming. 0-1 years of previous experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of circuit design and analysis
- Understanding of chip physical integration and layout concepts
- Skills in circuit simulation tools such as Hspice, Matlab,…
- Familiarity with Cadence, Ansys tools, and similar
- Understanding of IBIS and S-parameter models
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ in a Unix type environment, with good problem solving ability
- Excellence in collaborating with others on team projects
