Open Approach is looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic, personable, self-driven individual undeterred by the challenges that come with working in a small but growing technology company. Your work will take place at the epicenter of our organization, working closely with the Account Management and Business Development team, along with the most important part of our company – our clients.


As such, we need someone who loves creating order, wears many hats, thrives on a little chaos, enjoys creativity, embraces grey areas, and who will take pride in providing an excellent experience for our clients.



Below we list a lot of the normal stuff you’d expect in a job description, but here’s the bottom line.  This is a client-focused, professional-level, no-nonsense job for the person who loves getting things done and creating client value.


  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal and external teams
  • Specify basic hardware requirements based on client requests
  • Work with our vendors to complete deal registrations for large purchases for our clients
  • Develop quotes and proposals
  • Review and develop statement of work documents for client projects
  • Manage hardware, software, and other renewals
  • Assist with editing, style adherence, and overall quality assurance of internal process and client outreach material
  • Develop reports for service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Triage inquiries from our clients then respond or route to the appropriate party
  • Plan and schedule client meetings, presentations, or sales activities; send reminders regarding upcoming appointments
  • Perform client check-in calls, simply to say “Hi, we are here for you, how’s it going?”
  • Suggest changes to account management and business development activity workflow
  • Organize and maintain order on a wide breadth of client information
  • Research industry related topics, work with Business Development to design applicable messaging, and then promote through our social media platforms and website


Job Requirements

  • Most importantly, be awesome and have a personality well-suited for this work
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required) as an administrative assistant, project coordinator, sales coordinator, or equivalent
  • Technically oriented with an understanding of modern technology, understanding of basic PC and networking hardware components preferred
  • Fast and efficient while keeping an eye on details
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
  • Outstanding communicator, both orally and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
  • Professional demeanor
